Over the past 35 years Steptoe’s Renovation Supplies has become one of Australia’s largest suppliers of original and manufactured period style renovation supplies, now based in Preston, Vic.
Our extensive range of products include original period pieces rescued from demolition of old churches, houses, public and commercial buildings such as double hung windows, casement windows, door entries, fire places, marble surrounds, window and door hardware and a selection of ceramic fireplace tiles.
Also rescued from warehouse demolition around Melbourne are over 100-year-old recycled Oregon timber beams which are machined down to manufacture identical to original windows, doors, Entries, French door etc to customers sizes and designs.
Now a days we mainly use treated Baltic and hardwood for all our products and keep the “Old scarce Recycled Oregon” for specialist and distress look-items.
As well as the products on site, Steptoes have a restoration service for cast iron inserts using only Australian made cast iron parts, and custom made solid timber panels.
